Foundation of ABEG 1977/78

Founding of ABEG Anlage- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH as a holding company for several companies in the IT technology, sports, printing and publishing and construction sectors by Managing Director Henning Richter. Due to the length of the name, the company was later renamed ABEG Anlagen GmbH.

Software

In order to improve controlling within the ABEG Group, it was necessary to purchase a computer system (Medium Data Technology, PDP-8). However, the programs supplied for this did not meet our requirements, so after some time we created the necessary programs with our own programmers. As there were several holdings in the construction sector, one of the largest program packages for the construction sector was created over time. Well-known companies such as Hochtief AG and Strabag AG were users of the programs with acquired group licenses. ABEG was the first company in Germany to receive the GAEB certificate for data transfer in the area of AVA (tendering, awarding, invoicing).

FDA validations

The quality assurance of computer-aided production and management systems and their validation in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines is another area of specialization in the field of management consulting. ABEG works primarily for large companies in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sale of investment properties

For several years, ABEG's main activity was the purchase and sale of real estate with a focus on investment properties, apartment buildings and commercial properties. Thanks to its many years of experience in the field of architecture and construction, ABEG has been a competent and successful partner for buyers and sellers.

In this context, ABEG has also carried out construction controlling for the monitoring and implementation of publicly subsidized construction projects on behalf of public lenders. ABEG is licensed for this activity and for real estate brokerage in accordance with Section 34c of the German Commercial Code.

ABEG carries out the technical and commercial due diligence of real estate portfolios as well as property management with tenant support and property services on behalf of real estate owners. Today, the focus is on construction management with refurbishment and renovation of real estate properties.

Quality assurance

The areas of portfolio management, construction management and quality monitoring have been established as services with external employees throughout Germany. An organization for quality monitoring during construction deals specifically with planning and quality assurance during the construction of real estate properties.

Agriculture

The realization that a long life with vitality depends above all on nutrition and healthy living conditions has directed our focus towards agriculture. The investments of ABEG's main shareholder led to the purchase of an aronia plantation in central Poland, which is still cultivated today and whose products are marketed annually.

The acquisition of exclusive worldwide distribution and production rights for a special bag-in-box juice dispenser for aronia juice and the marketing of a self-published book on the "Health Aspects of the Aronia Berry" round off the product range in this area. 

The book was written by ABEG's main shareholder based on 140 scientific studies on the aronia berry and is available in bookshops.

Energy - Infrared heaters

After 3 years of intensive development work in the laboratory, the production of radio-controlled infrared heating elements was started at the beginning of 2023 due to future technical developments in the energy sector.

When developing the design of the heating elements, the focus was on achieving the highest possible efficiency.

The efficiency test of our heaters carried out by the TU Dresden has shown one of the highest physically achievable efficiencies for infrared heaters. The products under the AbegSun brand were tested with an efficiency of 69.5% out of a physically achievable 70%.

Due to the immense advantages and general electrification, we are sure that in a few years only infrared single room heaters will be used as space heating in all types of properties.
